The Brandvlei Ultra Swim
A beautiful swim…but long…and tough
Venue: Brandvlei Dam (Worcester Yacht Club)
Start time: Staggered start from 9am
Entry fee…R550
This includes a free juice on arrival, Beautiful Oceans summer hoodie and medal to all finishers.
We want our participants to have a VIP experience. Something you don’t get at other events. Grab a juice as you arrive. NO queing for registration. Free sunblock. Super chilled vibes afterwards. Some lucky draws. All included in your entry fee.
Is it tough? Oh hell yes…Was anything EVER worth doing, ever easy?
A perfect event for clubs or athletes training for longer triathlon events.
ON THE DAY ENTRIES are limited to 10 people and cost R650
Distances:
The ULTRA – 7km swim. Starts at 8am
The Long – 5km swim. Starts at 9am
The Short – 3km. Starts at 10am
Route description:
The swim: This will be along the shore of Brandvlei Dam. Never more than 50m away from the shore line.
There will be lifeguards on duty in a boat and shore safety crew. Safety is always a #1 priority.
Prize giving at 2pm…you must be there to claim your prize.
4hr30 cutoff time for the Ultra.
Camping facilities available at Worcester Yacht Club
How long will it take to get to Brandvlei Dam? Give or take 1 hour – including 1 stop go. We would recommend leaving Cape Town no later than 7am.
Where is it? Between Rawesonville and Worcester. At Worcester Yacht Club (click on the link to go to the website). ITS NOT AT THE PRISON.
So what happens if the weather is kak or conditions not favourable. We will make a call on the morning with the safety crew.

Unfortunately no refunds will be given. We can issue a credit for a future race or Robben Island Crossing but the weather is kinda outta our control.
