A perfect event for clubs or athletes training for longer triathlon events.
ON THE DAY ENTRIES are possible cost R650
Distances:
The ULTRA – 7km swim. Starts at 8am
The Long – 5km swim. Starts at 9am
The Short – 3km swim. Starts at 10am

Route description:
The swim: This will be along the shore of Brandvlei Dam.
Out and back
Never more than 50m away from the shoreline.
There will be lifeguards on duty in a boat and shore safety crew. Safety is always a #1 priority.

Brandvlei Dam – Worcester Yacht Club
How long will it take to get to Brandvlei Dam? Give or take 1 hour – including a mandatory pit stop. We would recommend leaving Cape Town no later than 6am if you are doing the Ultra.
Where is it? Between Rawesonville and Worcester. At Worcester Yacht Club (click on the link to go to the website). ITS NOT AT THE PRISON and NOT at Quaggaskloof.
So, my entry fee – what is that been used for?
Beautiful Oceans is a project that aims to do a beach cleanup on every stretch of beach from Lambers Bay to Plettenberg Bay. Over 130 beaches. As well as ocean-based cleanups and research projects for students.
So what happens if the weather is kak or conditions not favourable. We will make a call on the morning with the safety crew. Unfortunately (STRICTLY) no refunds will be given. We are happy to issue a credit for a Robben Island Crossing but the weather is kinda outta our control.
